Pilots at Swiss, represented by AEROPERS, have voted, by 89.7 per cent, in favour of a new collective contract, concluding 16 months of intensive negotiations. Such was the high level of interest that 94.2 per cent of the eligible pilots took part in the ballot. In July, the pilots at Swiss, organized by AEROPERS, reached an agreement with Swiss International Airlines and signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding), which constitutes the corner points of the new Collective Labour Agreement (CLA). The main points of the new agreement concern better working conditions. This means an increase of the guaranteed days off within a rolling 3 month period, a better free day factor on short haul rotations and improvement on some of the long haul patterns. There is also an increase in the basic salary with the introduction of a variable pay scheme based on the EBIT Margin of the company. |
